So how do we do it? Our planning sets the standard. We start by meeting with the trustee. This very important step is both an introduction and a planning step. We use our signature project management approach to identify variables that matter to both the trustee and the family. Logistics are discussed and by the end of our meeting we are all invested in the same goals and expectations. Contracts include a detailed scope of work which was designed over the years to capture the nuances that come with dealing with estates. Setting up for the sorting, donations and inventory begins right away too. Trustee Help staff have been trained to inventory in such a way that it helps with accountability right away. Not all estates require detailed inventories and that too is discussed at the intake.
